Project Overview
- Project Name: Central Valve Manifold for Hydraulic Power Pack
- Applied Equipment: Mini Hydraulic Power Pack / Mini Hydraulic Power Unit
- Operating Pressure: 21 MPa
- Product Size: 120 × 120 mm
- Material: Aluminum Alloy
- Surface Treatment: Anodic Oxidation
AiSoar Hydraulics provided a customized central valve manifold solution for a hydraulic power pack project. The valve manifold was designed according to the customer’s hydraulic system requirements and production drawings, with optimized hole dimensions, material selection, and surface treatment to ensure reliable performance in the final hydraulic power unit.
Project Background
The customer needed a customized central valve manifold for use in a hydraulic power pack system. The original valve block design included multiple holes with different diameters and depths. Some holes required deep drilling and high machining accuracy, which placed higher requirements on the drilling equipment, machining process, and dimensional control.
During the drawing review stage, AiSoar’s technical team found that some hole diameters in the customer’s batch drawings were not fully suitable for the actual working conditions of the hydraulic system. If produced directly according to the original drawing, the valve manifold could potentially affect oil flow control, system stability, or assembly matching.
To ensure better performance and production reliability, AiSoar reviewed the drawings together with the actual hydraulic circuit requirements and helped the customer adjust and confirm the final machining parameters.
Customer’s Special Requirements
This project required more than standard machining. The customer needed a valve manifold that could meet the actual operating conditions of the hydraulic power pack and support stable system performance during use.
Key requirements included:
1) Accurate control of different hole diameters and hole depths
2) Deep-hole machining capability for specific oil passages
3) Material suitable for hydraulic power pack applications
4) Aluminum alloy body with oxidation surface treatment
5) Stable performance under 21 MPa operating pressure
6) Consistent machining quality for batch production
7) Better matching between the valve block and the final hydraulic system
Aisoar Solution & Design Description
Based on the customer’s drawings and the actual working conditions of the hydraulic power pack, AiSoar reviewed the valve manifold structure and confirmed the hole depth, hole diameter, machining feasibility, and material requirements.
Instead of only producing according to the original drawings, our team focused on whether the valve block design could meet the real application needs of the hydraulic system. After identifying unreasonable parameters in the original drawing, AiSoar provided modification suggestions and confirmed the final production parameters with the customer.
The final solution used an aluminum alloy valve block with oxidation treatment. The product size was 120 × 120 mm, designed for a hydraulic power pack operating at 21 MPa.
Key Design Highlights
1. Drawing Review and Parameter Optimization
AiSoar reviewed the customer’s batch drawings before production and identified hole parameters that were not fully suitable for the actual hydraulic system. The hole size and depth were then adjusted according to the working conditions, helping the final valve manifold better match the system requirements.
2. Accurate Hole Machining
The manifold included multiple holes with different diameters and depths. Some deep holes required specialized drilling equipment and strict machining control. AiSoar ensured accurate drilling and machining to support stable oil passage performance.
3. Material Matching for Hydraulic Power Pack Use
The valve block was made from aluminum alloy, which is commonly used in compact hydraulic power pack systems due to its lightweight structure and good machinability. The oxidation surface treatment improved the appearance and surface protection of the manifold.
4. Better System Compatibility
By optimizing the hole parameters according to the actual hydraulic circuit, the finished valve manifold became more suitable for the customer’s hydraulic power pack, helping improve system matching, assembly efficiency, and application reliability.
5. Batch Production Consistency
For valve manifold projects, consistency is important. AiSoar controlled the machining process to ensure that each manifold in the batch met the confirmed technical requirements and could be reliably used in the customer’s hydraulic power pack system.
Project Result & Application Effect
After optimization and production, the custom central valve manifold met the customer’s hydraulic power pack application requirements. The product was successfully manufactured according to the confirmed parameters and delivered for batch use.

Achieved results included:
- Optimized hole dimensions based on real working conditions
- Improved matching with the customer’s hydraulic power pack system
- Stable material and surface treatment selection
- Reliable batch production quality
- Better support for hydraulic oil flow control and valve integration
- Successful customer repeat order after initial batch use
Customer Feedback
After purchasing the first batch of 500 pieces, the customer placed a repeat order for another 400 pieces. This repeat order reflected the customer’s recognition of AiSoar’s technical support, machining capability, and product consistency.
